A hospital bed can make life easier, safer, and more comfortable, whether for short-term recovery or long-term care.
See all bedsThe FloorBed 1 is a fully electric, floor-level hospital bed designed to enhance safety and comfort in home care and post-acute care settings. Its innovative design offers a range of features tailored to meet the needs of both users and caregivers. Explore how the FloorBed 1 can make a difference:
Ultra-low height (2.8 inches)
Lowers to just 2.8 inches from the floor, significantly reducing the risk of injury from falls by minimizing the distance to the ground.
Raises to 25.6 inches
Raises to a maximum height of 25.6 inches, allowing caregivers to perform care tasks at a comfortable working level, reducing strain and enhancing efficiency.
Vertical lift mechanism
The bed raises and lowers vertically without horizontal movement, making it ideal for smaller spaces and helping to protect walls from damage.
Full electric adjustability
Easily change the bed's height and position using a simple remote control, enhancing comfort for the user and making caregiving tasks easier.
Backrest adjustment with auto-regression
Raises the upper body to a comfortable sitting position, reducing pressure on the lower back and enhancing comfort during activities like reading or eating.
Knee-break function
Elevates the knees to promote better circulation and reduce swelling in the legs, enhancing overall comfort.
Trendelenburg and reverse trendelenburg positions (15 degrees)
Allows tilting of the bed to assist with specific medical conditions. The Trendelenburg position tilts the bed so the feet are higher than the head, which can aid in certain therapeutic situations. The Reverse Trendelenburg position tilts the bed with the head higher than the feet, which can help with breathing and circulation. Important: These positions should only be used under the guidance of a healthcare professional, as they may not be suitable for everyone.
Safety stop mechanism
The bed includes a safety stop feature that halts lowering at approximately 7 inches above the floor. This pause allows caregivers to ensure the area under the bed is clear before proceeding to the lowest position, enhancing safety for both the user and caregiver.
Lockout feature
Prevents unintentional use of the bed's controls, ensuring that adjustments are made only when intended, adding an extra layer of safety.
Easy assembly with minimal maintenance
Designed for straightforward setup with minimal components to attach, and requires no routine preventive maintenance, saving time and effort for caregivers.
